Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has announced two new unlimited data plans for the North Zone. The two new BSNL plans include data usage caps and post that the speeds would drop to 80 Kbps. These two new plans are available for the postpaid GSM subscribers with the BSNL network. BSNL Board Director (Consumer Mobility) Anupam Srivastava said, “The offer is specifically useful for the student community and youth.”
BSNL brings two new data plans in the name of “Unlimited Data” and thereby lure in as many young subscribers to move to postpaid connection. Under this offer, the postpaid users can opt for the add-on data packs priced at Rs 240 and Rs 340.
On the add-on pack worth Rs 240, the users will be able to enjoy 1 GB data while on the Rs 340 pack, the user will get 2 GB data. After the respective data limits have been crossed, the speed will drop to measly 80 Kbps.
Currently, these two add-on data packs would be made available for BSNL post-paid users in Haryana, Punjab, UP(West), UP(East), Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and J&K.
