BSNL adds free Amazon Prime subscription to broadband plans above Rs 399

BSNL is now offering free membership to Amazon Prime for broadband users paying a monthly rental of Rs 399 and above. The benefit can only be availed when users to stick to the same plan for a whole year.

BSNL has upgraded its broadband catalogue by offering free Amazon Prime subscription with annual plans starting from Rs 399. Prior to this, the state-run operator had announced similar benefits for annual broadband subscribers with a rental of over Rs 499.

To take on Reliance Jio’s upcoming rollout of Jio Fiber next month, BSNL is now offering free membership to Amazon Prime for broadband users paying a monthly rental of Rs 399 and above, reports TelecomTalk. There’s a catch, however, as the benefit can only be availed when users to stick to the same plan for a whole year.

In addition to the free Amazon Prime subscription, BSNL is also offering a cashback of up to 25 percent for users subscribing to annual broadband plans. The cashback, however, varies for plan prices; plans below Rs 499 will get 15 percent cashback while users subscribing to plans between Rs 499 and Rs 900 will be able to get 20 percent cashback. Broadband users enrolled in plans above Rs 900 will get 25 percent cashback on annual plans.

How to activate BSNL – Amazon Prime offer for broadband users of Rs 399 and above

In order to activate this offer, users need to go to the company’s website and then click on the special Amazon Prime banner. They’ll then need to enter their BSNL number and verify using through a method mentioned in the list. The free Amazon Prime membership can be activated on an existing account or one can create a new Amazon account to avail Prime services.

Users will be able to avail free shipping on Amazon with several offer and deals during sale periods. With Amazon Prime, users can enjoy streaming movies, TV shows and videos through Amazon Prime Video or play/download music through Amazon Prime Music.
