Last week we reported, that Bose may launch QuietComfort 35 II wireless Headphone with Google Assistant pretty soon. And now the brand has announced the latest headphones in the market with a price tag of at $349.99 (approx. Rs 22,424) and is available in two colour variants- Black and Silver. The company has also launched SoundSport Free wireless earphones, which is priced at $249.99 (roughly Rs. 16,250).
The QC35 II around-ear headphones offer noise cancellation and a custom-engineered Bluetooth system. It has microphones inside and outside the ear cups. The QC35 claims to offer up to 20 hours of battery life from a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It has simple buttons that are on the right ear cup: on/off, music volume, play/pause, and answer/end call.
The QC35 II have the Google Assistant built right into the headphones. That means user can play music, receive texts, manage your daily tasks, and get answers—all with voice. Just press and hold the Action button, and start a conversation with Google Assistant. For a better user experience Bose offers free App available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, that makes connecting and switching between devices easier. With the app, user can also control the levels of noise cancelling.
The SoundSport Free wireless earphone is the Bose’s first pair of wireless in-ear earphones. The new pair of wireless earphones will be available sometime in early October. The company claims Bluetooth earbuds boast 30 feet of range and provides 5 hours of continuous playback per charge. The earphones comewith a charging case that provides 10 hours of additional battery life.
Bose SoundSport Free is designed especially for people who lead active lifestyles. The SoundSport Free is priced higher than Apple’s AirPods (Rs 9,999), though it offers sports fins and water and sweat resistance coming standard. However, comparing to the Samsung’s Gear IconX ($299 / Rs 13,000), Bose provides a 1.5 hour more battery life on a single charge.
