ZTE Nubia Z11 is all set to be unveiled at an event in Beijing in China today. Ahead of the launch, the company has released a teaser of the upcoming phone.
The teaser has four Chinese symbols below the image of the phone which reads “Borderless”, which probably means that the phone comes with an edge-to-edge screen with no or minimal bezels. Apart from that, the teaser also reveals that the Z11 is lightning fast and will come with Snapdragon 820 chipset. The image of Cheetah on the image also indicates towards the lightning fast device.
Recently, the company’s General Manager Ni Fei also confirmed that the Nubia Z11 will sport a ‘bezel-less’ display. He also shared a picture of the front panel of the Nubia Z11 on Weibo (Chinese social network) showing that the display has no visible bezels.
However, the technical specs of Nubia Z11 are still rumored. Some new reports have claimed that the ZTE Nubia Z11 will feature a 5.2-inch display with a 1440 x 2560 QHD Resolution and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. The device will come with 6 GB RAM along with 128 GB of internal storage and expandable memory via a microSD card slot. The Nubia Z11 is expected to have a 21-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies and video chats. The device will be backed by a 3000 mAh battery.
However, these fresh leaks are not in inline with specifications which were leaked by TENAA spotting earlier. As per TENAA listing, Nubia Z11 has a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display, a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor and 4GB RAM. It offers 32GB of internal storage, 200 GB expandable storage via a micro SD card, a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a 2900 mAh battery. The phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. The dimensions of the phone are 151.8 x 72.3 x 7.75 mm and it weighs 162 grams.
