“Ringing Bells is all set to fulfill its promise of delivering 2 lakh smartphones to the customers by starting the delivery process of 65,000 more units,” the company stated in a press release last week.

Coming to the specifications, the Freedom 9900 has a 31.5 inch LED screen panel with of 1366 x 768 pixels and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. It will also come with 2 HDMI ports, 2 ports and 2 speakers for audio.

Well, Ringing Bells is certainly back up and running after the initial glitch at the time of Freedom 251 launch.

Recently, we have witnessed some serious cheap offerings in television segment from Kodak, Infocus and the new entrant Daiwa. With the company claiming Freedom 9900 to be the cheapest in the segment, it certainly looks like Ringing Bells will once again target the poor income group. We are pretty excited once the detailed specifications are out.
