BlueStacks has released a new alpha version of an app player that allows running Android apps on Windows platform and also to share content between Android and Windows.
The BlueStacks app player allows the Android apps meant for smartphones and tablets to run smoothly on the Windows based computer. The Cloud Connect allows sharing the data between Android and Windows platform.
The app is little more than mere emulation environment for Windows OS based PCs. This app player enables a full-screen and fast playback of Android apps meant for smartphones as well as tablets.
There is no modification or special hacking required but only the installation of BlueStacks app player on the Windows PC. All you have to do is run the app and also push your applications from the Android smartphone to the Windows desktop using Cloud Connect feature.
By default, the BlueStacks app player comes with 10 Android Apps preloaded and further supports 26 different apps. BlueStacks promises that the app will also support paid apps and the number limit will be removed with the Pro version. Besides that, the company also plans to extend the support of the app player for Mac OS X.
