BLU has unveiled a new 4G smartphone under its Energy series in the US market, which is named as BLU Energy X LTE. The smartphone is priced at $129 (approximately Rs. 8573) and is available for purchase at Amazon. The BLU Energy X LTE is going to succeed BLU Energy X which was released last year for $109.
The BLU Energy X LTE has a full metallic uni-body and houses a huge 4000 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. It features a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core (Mediatek MT6735) processor along with Mali-T720, and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system.
The Energy X LTE comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 64GB via micro SD card. The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.4, auto-focus, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, a Micro USB port, Accelerometer, proximity, and digital compass. The handset measures 143 x 69.9 x 8.5 mm and comes in Midnight Black and Gold colour options.
