BlackBerry is reportedly working on three smartphones which will be launched this year. As per reports, the phones have been named as Athena, Luna, and Uni. According to some blogs, these will be launched at the Mobile World Congress 2018 event which is to be held between February 26 to March 1 in Barcelona, Spain.
The specifications of the phones have been leaked on Geekbench and in European device registration databases.
As per reports, BlackBerry Uni is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octa-core Processor and will come in 6 GB or 8 GB RAM variants. There will be 64 GB storage on the phone. The Uni is expected to offer a touchscreen with 1620 x 1080 pixels. As per Letsgodigital, the Uni would look like as the BlackBerry Priv.
The Athena is also expected in 6 and 8 GB RAM models with 64 GB of storage. Moreover, Snapdragon 660 and dual rear cameras are expected in this phone. It is rumoured to feature a keyboard-based design and have larger keys than the BlackBerry KEYone.
The BlackBerry Luna is expected to be a mid-tier model.
With MWC event around the corner, more and more information are expected to emerge. Many handsets are expected to be launched during the event including Nokia 7 Plus, LG V30 2018, Asus Zenfone 5 series, Samsung Galaxy S9 etc.
