Blackberry Mercury with Android Nougat now appeared on GFXBench

Earlier the smartphone was spotted on Geekbench website.

Couple of days back, Blackberry Mercury (BBB100-1) was spotted on Geekbench website. Now the Blackberry Mercury as been found listed on another bench-marking website, the GFXBench.

Notably, as per GFXBench website, the Blackberry Mercury aka BlackBerry BBB100-1 listed with 12.1-inch display with resolution of 1620×1080 pixels. However, as per website ‘winfuture’, there was a blog published on BlackBerry Italia with an image (see above) of Blackberry Mercury and as per the image, it looks like a smartphone with 4.5 inch screen and a physical keyboard and not a tablet of 12.1 inch display. Besides, as per the image, the handset has a fingerprint scanner integrated on the Space-button. Further, as per blog, the smartphone will be launched in February 2017.

Further as per listing, the smartphone will be powered by a 2.02 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, Adreno 506 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 32 GB of Internal storage. It will run on latest 7.0 Nougat operating system. The Blackberry Mercury has a 12-megapixel rear camera with flash , and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats, as per the listing. Besides, the smartphone offers WiFi, GPS, NFC, Proximity, Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyroscope, Pedometer, and light sensor.

To recollect, BlackBerry’s first Android power phone was BlackBerry Priv and the second was BlackBerry DTEK50. Recently its third Android phone, dubbed as BlackBerry DTEK60 is set to be launched in the USA and has already made available for pre-ordering by B&H. The phone is priced at $499.99 (approximately Rs. 33,406). Now according to new reports, the BlackBerry DTEK60 is also available on eBay USA.
