Black Shark 2 Pro launched with Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC and 12GB RAM

After a series of leaks and reports, Black Shark has finally introduced its next-generation of a gaming smartphone, the Black Shark 2 Pro smartphone in China. This gaming smartphone comes in two variants: 12GB of with 128GB of storage is priced at Yuan 2,999 (approximately Rs 29,926), while for 12GB of RAM with 256GB storage variant one has to shell out Yuan 3,499 (approximately Rs 34,915). The Black Shark 2 Pro in five colour options named as Bolt (Ming black), Flamingo (orange blast), Freezing Blade (grey ice crystal), Racing (blue), Myth Ray (purple streamer). The salewill kickstart from August 2 onwards.

The phone supports multi-touch 240Hz having touch response speed of up to 34.7 milliseconds with accuracy reaches 0.3mm.

Black Shark 2 Pro has a 6.39-inches TrueView full Pressure-Sensitive with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and comes armed with latest 2.96GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 Plus with Adreno 640 GPU.

The smartphone has DC dimming 2.0 support, 3.0 and features liquid cooling 3.0+, which includes a liquid-cooled plate along with liquid-cooled tube that cover all the heat-generating components of the CPU. Liquid Cooling 3.0+ is claimed to be 20 times more efficient in heat dissipation and it downs the core temperature by up to 14-degree C.

For the optics, it sports a dual-camera setup with a combination of 48-megapixel IMX586 primary lens along with a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.2 and LED flash. The camera also supports Super Night View 3.0. For the front, the phone features a 20-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The Black Shark 2 Pro houses an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone gets its juices from a 4000mAh battery with 27W support and runs on 9 Pie operating system. Connectivity options for the phone include VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB port.
