Beetel, Bharti’s handset brand, is set to launch its latest tablet PC based on Android operating system today.
The tablet, to be called ‘Magiq’, has a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen with Android 2.2 Froyo OS, and is powered by a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor.
Other details include a front VGA camera, a 2 Megapixel back camera, 8 GB of built-in storage and a 2200 mAh battery. This tablet also offers 3G connectivity and WiFi.
A spokesperson of the company said to The Mobile Indian, “The tablet will have all the features and specifications of a high end tablet but with a price tag that will be very affordable.”
He also added that the price of the tablet is between Rs 10,000-15,000.
Given the specification and price, this tablet will have a wide appeal and if Beetel manages to offer decent build quality, it will be an extremely attractive device.
