Hyundai has finally taken the wrap off from its latest 2018 Elite i20 at the Auto Expo 2018. The premium hatchback will be available in both petrol and diesel versions.
The petrol version price starts from Rs 5.34 lakh and goes up to Rs 7.90 lakh. The diesel variant price starts from Rs 6.37 lakh and goes up to 9.15 lakh. It is important to note that all the prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
Starting with the design, the new Elite i20 comes loaded with come improved grille and bumper design along with reshaped fog lamps. The car also comes with bigger tail lamps and it gets new alloy wheels. The car will be available in six options including Era, Magna Era, Sports, Asta and Asta (O).
Under the hood, the 2018 Hyundai Elite i20 gets some minor upgrades. The car still runs on 1.4L U2 CRDi engine that gives a power of 89 Bhp and peak torque of 220Nm. The petrol version comes with a 1.2-litre Kappa engine. Interestingly, the major update comes in the transmission section as the petrol variant now comes with an option of CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). Apart from this, the petrol variant comes with a 5-speed transmission, while the diesel variant sports a 6-speed transmission.

On the inside, the car comes with a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For safety, the car comes loaded with Anti-lock braking system (ABS), 6-airbag system and rear defogger to remove the mist during foggy conditions.
