Asus today unveiled the ZenWatch 2 at the IFA event which is being held in Berlin, Germany. It will be available in Europe from 4 October onwards. India availability has not been shared.
The Asus ZenWatch 2 will be available in two variants one with 1.45 inch curved 2.5 D AMOLED Display that has been priced at EUR 149 (approx Rs 10,966 ) and the model with 1.63 inch display will be available for EUR 169 (approx Rs 12,437).
The smaller variant of ZenWatch 2 has a display Resolution of 280×280, while the other one has a resolution of 320×320. Both have Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smaller variant measures 45 x 37mm and has a 18mm strap and while the larger one measures 49 x 41mm and come with a 22mm strap.
Asus has packed in 300 mAh battery in the 1.45-inch watch while a 400 mAh battery powers up the 1.63-inch display variant. Both the smart watches come with an all-new magnetic charger that claims to charge ZenWatch 2’s battery to 50 per cent capacity in just 36 minutes.
Both the ZenWatch 2 smart watches are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Processor with 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. They feature IP67 rating for water resistance and run on the latest version of Android Wear. They even have in built mics as well along with connectivity option such as WiFi and Bluetooth. All the variants of Asus ZenWatch 2 will be available in three different colors options- Silver, Gunmetal and Rose Gold.
