Asus has unveiled its new 4G LTE tablet in US, which is named as Asus ZenPad Z8. The tablet is priced at $249.99 and will be available for purchase exclusively via US operator Verizon Wireless, starting June 23.
Asus ZenPad Z8 features a 7.9-inch QXGA (2048×1536p) IPS display. It comes with the 1.4 GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor, which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU and 2GB RAM. The tablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system wrapped under ZenUI and is backed by a 4680 mAh non-removable battery, which claims to offer up-to 13 hours of battery life when fully charged.
The ZenPad Z8 comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via microSD card. The tablet has an 8-megapixel rear camera on the rear, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. Besides, the tablet offers 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 ac/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, and Two front facing stereo speakers with DTS-HD audio support. The tablet weighs around 320 grams.
