Asus recently launched its next-generation of smartphones in India. The brand introduced the Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2. Now, during the launch event, the company revealed that the Zenfone Max Pro M2 along with Zenfone 5Z and Zenfone Max Pro M2 will get Android 9.0 Pie update next year.
The company, during the launch event, confirmed that the latest smartphone will get Android 9.0 Pie update in January 2019. The brand also revealed that the Zenfone 5Z will also get the latest Pie update in the same month.
Coming to the Zenfone Max Pro M1, Asus said that the phone will get the latest update in the month of February next year. To recall, the Zenfone 5Z was launched in June at a price of Rs 29,999, while the Zenfone Max Pro M1 was launched in April this year at a price of Rs 10,999.
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes in three variants – 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage for Rs 12,999, 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage priced at Rs 14,999, and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage option is priced at Rs 16,999. The Asus Zenfone Max M2, on the other hand, comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage priced at Rs 9,999 while the 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage variant will cost you Rs 11,999. Both the smartphones come bundled with Flipkart Complete protection plan which includes theft insurance and damage insurance worth Rs 1,299 at just Rs 99 along with no cost EMIs.
The Zenfone Max Pro M2 will be available for sale on December 18, while the Zenfone Max M2 will go on sale on December 20. Both the smartphones are exclusively available on Flipkart. The sale of Asus Zenfone Max M2 will start from December 20th while for Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, it would start from December 18.
