Asus has confirmed that it will launch the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 gaming smartphone at a launch event in Indonesia on 11th December. The Zenfone Max Pro M2 will be the successor of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone. The company shared theannouncement on its Twitter handle.
Furthermore, the company has also claimed that the Zenfone Max Pro M2 is a gaming smartphone. The phone is also expected to be launched in India soon after it’s launch in Indonesia.

Alongside, a render of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has also leaked online, courtesy XDA Developers, the render shows the front panel of the device and it reveals an edge-to-edge display with a notch on top.
XDA Developers have spotted an ASUS phone with model number ASUS_X01BD_1 in the device catalogue of Google Play Console. The Google Play listing reveals that the upcoming Asus phone will be having 6GB of RAM, and it will run on Android 8.1 Oreo.
As per earlier leaks, Zenfone Max Pro M2 will come with model number ZB631KL and it will have a 6-inch FHD+ display. The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 Chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. It will come with triple camera setup but exact configuration is not known yet. However, the primary sensor of the camera setup is said to be 13-megapixel.
The company is also working on the Zenfone Max M2 which will come with model number ZB633KL and it will feature the same 6-inch FHD+ display. It will be powered by Snapdragon 636 processor. The phone will have 4GB of RAM with either 32 or 64GB internal storage. The ZenFone Max M2 will have a 13-megapixel front-facing camera and dual cameras on its back.
