Taiwan-based Asus launchedZenfone Max Pro M1 in India this year in April for starting Rs 10,999. Now its successor dubbed as Asus Zenfone Max Pro 2 is tipped to come with triple rear cameras.
The information comes via famous leakster Roland Quandt on his twitter handle. The tipster further revealed that the launch of Asus Zenfone Max Pro 2 is just round the corner.

Roland Quandt revealed that the Zenfone Max Pro M2 will come in two variants, one with model number ZB634KL and the other one with ZB631KL. He further revealed that the Zenfone Max Pro M2 will come with triple rear camera setup. With this, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro 2 phone will be the company’s first device to be equipped with three cameras on the rear panel.
There is also the ASUS ZB632KL which has a triple camera setup too as well as the ZB631KL and ZB633KL. Asus is also said to be working on the successor to the Zenfone Max M1 aka Max M2 and the ZB633KL is expected to be the Zenfone Max (M2).
Both the Asus Zenfone Max M2 and the Zenfone Max Pro M2 were certified by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia last month. On the listing, Asus Zenfone Max M2 bears model number ZB633KL, whereas the Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with a model number ZB631KL.
As per rumours, both the Asus smartphones will run Android Oreo operating system out-of-the-box. On the hardware front, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series chipset. They are expected to come with a notched display. The battery capacity is also likely to be the 5,000mAh which is similar to the Zenfone Max Pro M1.
