Asus Zenfone 6 expected to launch in India around June 19

Asus launched its latest flagship, Zenfone 6 smartphone at an event in Spain. Now sources close to the development have told The Mobile Indian that the Zenfone 6 will be launched in India around June 19.

Asus has already confirmed that the Zenfone 6 will be sold on Flipkart upon its launch in India. A dedicated page for the Asus ZenFone 6 on Flipkart also lists all the key features and specifications of the phone.

For the pricing, Asus ZenFone 6 is priced at EUR 499 (roughly Rs 39,100) for the 6GB + 64GB variant,EUR 559 (roughly Rs. 43,800) for the 6GB + 128GB version while the top-end 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at EUR 599 (roughly Rs. 47,000). The smartphone comes in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver colour options. In India, the phone is expected to be launched around Rs 45,000.

The major highlight of the Zenfone 6 of the new flipping camera mechanism. The rear camera flips into the selfie camera with a touch of a button. The phone features a 48-megapixel f/1.79 primary sensor, and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with a 125-degree ultra-wide angle lens. The cameras are capable of shooting at 60fps with features like auto panorama among others.

Asus ZenFone 6features a 6.4-inch Full NanoEdge display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 600nits brightness, HDR support and 6 protection. There is a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4.0 and it runs on 9.0 Pie, which based on ZenUI 6. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 along with Adreno 640 GPU. The dimensions are 159.1×75.11×8.1-9.1mm and it weighs 190 grams.
