Asus has finally taken the wraps off from its latest Zenfone 4 series. The company has launched Zenfone 4 Pro, Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4 Selfie, Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro, Zenfone 4 Max and Zenfone 4 Max Pro.
The Asus Zenfone 4 Pro comes in Pure Black and Moonlight While colour variants and is priced at $599 (approx. Rs 39,000), while the Zenfone 4 comes in Midnight Black, Moonlight White and Mint Green colour options and comes with a price tag of $399 (approx. Rs 25,600).
The Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro and Zenfone 4 Selfie comes with a price tag of $379 (approx. Rs 24,500) and $279 (approx. Rs 18,000) respectively. However, there is no information about the pricing of the Zenfone 4 Max and Zenfone 4 Max Pro. Further Asus says that the phones will be launched in Asia first and then will be announced in other markets, though the company has not shared any time frame for it. All the smartphones run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat with company’s ZenUI 4.0 running on top of it and all of them comes with dual-camera setups.
Asus Zenfone 4 Pro and Zenfone 4
Starting with the flagship models, both of them comes loaded with dual rear cameras. Starting with the Zenfone 4 Pro, the phone uses a combination of a 12-megapixel sensor with 1.4-micron Pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, 4-axis OIS, while the secondary sensor is meant for 2x optical zoom. The regular Zenfone 4 comes with a combination of 12-megapixel main sensor and 8-megapixel 120-degree Wide-Angle lens. Both the smartphones features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The Zenfone 4 Pro features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, while the Zenfone 4 comes loaded with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display.
The Zenfone 4 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The phone runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat and has a fingerprint sensor on the front. The device is juiced up by a 3600mAh battery. The Zenfone 4 Pro measures 156.9 x 75.6 x 7.6mm and weighs 175 grams.
The Zenfone 4 comes in two variants: one is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, while the other is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset. The phone is backed by up to 6GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. The device is juiced up by a 3300mAh battery. On the connectivity front, both the devices support 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, Type-C and dual-SIM.
Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro and Zenfone 4 Selfie
As the name suggests, both the smartphone are selfie-centric in nature. Both the devices feature dual-camera setup at the front. The Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro can take 24-megapixel selfies by using a 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 sensor. There is a 5-megapixel secondary camera for wide-angle selfies, which the company calls “welfies”. The regular Zenfone 4 Selfies comes loaded with a 20-megapixel front camera along with an 8-megapixel secondary camera for selfies and video calling. On the rear panel, there is a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF.
The Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED Display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, while the Zenfone 4 Selfie features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset. Both the devices come loaded with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Both of them are backed by a 3000mAh battery and carries a fingerprint sensor on the front. On the connectivity front, both the devices support 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Dual-SIM slot.
Asus Zenfone 4 Max Pro and Zenfone 4 Max
Both the devices are budget-centric and come loaded with some impressive battery backup of 5,000mAh. The Zenfone 4 Max and Zenfone 4 Max Pro are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 or Snapdragon 430 processor. Interestingly, the Zenfone 4 Max Pro comes is backed by up to 3GB of RAM and up to 32GB of internal storage, while the Zenfone 4 Max is backed by up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, both the device features dual-camera setup at the rear panel, which comes with a combination of a 12-megapixel main sensor with f/2.0 Aperture and LED flash along with a wide-angle secondary sensor of 5 megapixels. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter on the Zenfone 4 Max Pro and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the Zenfone 4 Max. Both of them support 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and dual-SIM slot.
