.Asus Zenfone 4 Max has now started receiving Android Oreo update. The update includes ZenUI 5.0, the latest version of Asus’ Android skin. The smartphone was launched last year with Android Nougat and was updated to ZenUI 4.0 afterwards.
The update is over-the-air (OTA) and it brings version number 15.2016.1809.412. If you don’t get any update notification, you can manually check for the update by going to the Settings > About phone > System update menu and click Download. Once the update is downloaded on your device, you have to reboot your device, post which the Android 8.1 Oreo update will be installed.
The update will bring in features like Smart Text Selection, Autofill, Picture-in-Picture Mode,Notification channels, snooze notifications and more to the Asus Zenfone 4 Max.
Asus Zenfone 4 Maxsports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels coupled with 2.5D curved glass protection. The smartphone comes in two variants: one sport a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, while the other one is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. The phone comes with different RAM and storage options as well. It comes with a fingerprint sensor as well.
