Taiwan based computer peripheral and mobile equipment manufacturer Asus has revealed that its Transformer TF101 tablet will get Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich update. The upgrade, which was announced last year without the release date, will now be rolled out towards the end of this month in Singapore. Hence, the update is most likely to be rolled out in India in the month of February. Asus Singapore made this announcement on its official Facebook account.
Asus also announced the roll-out of Android ICS update for its newer quad core Transformer Prime tablet during the Consumer Electronics Show 2012 in Las Vegas, USA.
Although roll out dates have been communicated, the company has not yet released the software change log or list of additions that the operating system will bring to the older TF101, but we hope that it will be available before the roll out begins.
