Asus Transformer tablet to get Honeycomb 3.2 upgrade in August

The new update will bring in both performance and stability upgrades to the transformer tablet.

The Honeycomb 3.2 upgrade fro the Asus transformer tablet is mostly in talk these days pertaining to the international roll out that concludes today from North America.

Commenting on the availability of the 3.2 upgrade in India the Asus India spokesperson confirmed to the mobile Indian that ‘The honeycomb 3.2 upgrade for the Asus transformer tablet will be made available for Indian audience by the end of August this year, only once the transformer tablet is made available across India which is expected to finish by the mid of august’

The new update will bring in both performance and stability upgrades to the transformer tablet. Also included in the update is the display compatibility mode for the tablet in built into the operating system that will disable the ability to automatically resize the display in accordance with the application but will help users by giving manual control the tweak the visibility of applications according to their device’s display.

It is expected that the devices that will be made available post the launch of the update will come preinstalled with the android honeycomb 3.2 update but as of now there is no official word on that.

As mentioned earlier as well Asus in India is planning to make the device available to every part of the country by the mid of August following which the update will be rolled out. And again with the lack of over the air upgrade option in India the update will have to be installed in the device manually.
