Latest quad core tablet from Asus, Transformer 2 is expected to be launched on the coming November 9. This information was shared by chairman of Asus Jonney Shih to All things D.
The new Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2 will house a five core bearing Nvidia Tegra 3 System on chip codenamed as Kal-El. Out of the five different computing cores the Processor will independently chooses which and how many cores to be used to give the best possible performance.
Along with that the chairman also revealed some more details about the operating system as well. Although he did not confirm that the tablet will have the latest Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) but he hinted that the ICS will start featuring on the products much before than the end of this year.
Other details about the Asus transformer 2 tablet are that the device will be 8.3 mm thick with a 10 inch display and 1 GB of RAM.
Asus has already launched the Eee Pad Transformer TF101 in India and available now for Rs 29,990 approximately. We can anticipate the arrival of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2 by the year end or early next year for India.
