After confirming Android 9 Pie updates to 15 of its smartphones earlier this week, Asus has now announced price drops for its four smartphones – the Zenfone Max Pro M1, Zenfone Max Pro M2, Zenfone Max M2 and Zenfone 5Z. The Zenfone models in question now start for an asking price of Rs 8,499.
Of the devices getting permanent price cuts, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 now starts at Rs 8,499 for the 3GB + 32GB version. The 4GB and 6GB RAM models of the device also receive price cuts and are now available for Rs 10,499 and Rs 12,499 respectively. Joining the Max Pro M1 is last year’s Asus flagship – the Zenfone 5Z which now starts at Rs 24,999 instead of its original price of Rs 29,999 for the 6GB + 64GB version. The Zenfone 5Z will also be available at reduced prices of Rs 27,999 and Rs 31,999 for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB models.

Besides that, the latest devices from Asus – the ZenFone Max Pro M2 and ZenFone Max M2 have also been slashed to reduced prices. The ZenFone Max Pro M2 now starts at Rs 9,999 for the base 3GB + 32GB variant. The device will be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM version for new prices of Rs 11,999 and Rs 13,999 respectively.

Asus is also offering the budget ZenFone Max M2 smartphone for a starting price of Rs 8,499 instead of its launch price of Rs 9,999 for the base 3GB + 32GB model. The 4GB + 64GB version of the same can now be purchased at Rs 10,499.

All four devices can now be purchased at their revised prices from March 2 on Flipkart.
