Asus expands ZenBook Series in India, starts Rs 66,990

The ZenBook Pro 15 (UX580) is powered with up to 8th generation Intel Core i9 processor, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics and 1TB SSD storage. The top-of-the-line specs sheet is accompanied by a ScreenPad technology which is essentially a high-resolution touchscreen that replaces your regular touchpad.

ASUS India has announced the new ZenBook Series with three new portable laptops – the ZenBook 13, ZenBook S and ZenBook Pro 15, all of which are advanced Windows 10 machines and powered by the latest Intel Core chipsets. The new Asus ZenBook range will retail in India for a starting price of Rs 66,990 and will be available on online stores, LFR stores and channel partners from August13.

Starting off with the cheapest of the lot, the ZenBook 13 (UX331) is a 13.9mm thin form factor laptop, weighing only 985gm. The laptop can be configured with up to an 8th generation Intel Core i7 with 512GB SSD storage and 16GB of RAM. The ZenBook 13 features a 13.3-inch NanoEdge slim-bezel display which spans a total 100 percent on RGB colour gamut, all of which is packed inside a MIL-STD-810G military-grade housing which is durable as well as portable. The laptop is backed by a 50Wh lithium-polymer battery which Asus claims will last to up to 14 hours on a single charge. The ZenBook 13 (UX331) will start to retail in India for Rs 66,990, all the way up to Rs 84,990 for the most expensive variant.

Asus ZenBook S

The next-in-line ZenBook S UX391 packs in an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8550U with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. But that’s not the selling point of the notebook. The ZenBook S features a 13.3-inch Full HD NanoEdge display which is supported Asus’ ErgoLift hinge technology that ensures comfortable typing, improved cooling airflow and enhanced audio due to the inclined keyboard. The laptop is also certified with MIL-STD-810G military-grade toughness and is designed on a near-to-A4 unibody frame with diamond-cut details and spun-metal finish, available in Deep Dive Blue or Burgundy Red colours. The ZenBook S comes with a battery life of up to 13.5 hours and is available for an asking price of Rs 1,29,990 in India.

Asus ZenBook Pro 15

The most expensive of the line is the ZenBook Pro 15 (UX580) which is powered with up to 8th generation Intel Core i9 processors, 16GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics and 1TB of SSD storage. The top-of-the-line specs sheet is accompanied by the all-new ScreenPad technology which is essentially a high-resolution, full-colour auxiliary touchscreen that replaces your regular touchpad. Asus says the ScreenPad is fully customizable and will enhance users’ productivity with adaptive functions and context-sensitive tools. The ZenBook Pro 15 is also the only laptop that features a resolution 15.6-inch NanoEdge touch display. Connectivity options include WiFi, USB 3.1 Gen 2 with Thunderbolt 3, USB Type-A and standard HDMI ports. The ZenBook Pro 15 is available in two version – Rs 1,79,990 for the Core i7 and Rs 2,09,990 for Core i9 CPU.
