After the success of AirPods, iPhone-maker Apple is now reportedly working on high-end headphones.
As per reports, the over the ear headphones will come with noise cancellation technology and will be released by the end of this year.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities last week said that the headphones will be “convenient as AirPods with better sound quality.”
Bloomberg reported that the Headphone will rival devices of Bose and Beats by Dre. The report further added that the company is facing some issues with production and may delay launch of the headphones to next year.
Curiously, Apple owns the Beats by Dre. This means that Apple might price its headphones in higher range, otherwise it might end up harming one of its own brand.
Anyway, a premium price tag is all but certain in any Apple product. Beats has offerings (for general users) in various price brackets from under Rs 10,000 to Rs 80,000 and more. So it is remain to see how Apple prices its headphones and what it does with Beats in future.
