Apple may release an update for iOS 5 within a week to cure the battery problems being faced by devices using the platform. The mobile operating system (iOS 5) was updated only last week with version 5.0.1, which solved the battery drainage problems for some iPhone 4S users, but many are still dissatisfied.
An Apple engineer told a German site that there will be another update — 5.0.2 out soon with “40 hours Standby time and 10 hours actual use”.
The update will also bring some hardware control to Siri voice assistant so that it can be used to take a picture, or video, or to switch off WiFi or Bluetooth.
It is also speculated that iPhone 5 will have a 3.7 inch screen and wireless sync with iTunes along with video conferencing.
