Every year, Apple announces a new flagship smartphone in the month of September and it is expected to do so this year as well. And as usual there have been lot of rumours and expectations surrounding the upcoming Apple phones. Now Engadget has predicted that the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 might come with dual SIM support – a first for any iPhone. Not only that the website claimed that Apple might not ditch the 3.5 mm jack as predicted.
The website has cited alleged pictures of the upcoming model which were shared by a China based retail shop known as Rock Fix. In the image a 4.7 inch model, allegedly iPhone 7, is being seen carrying a 3.5 mm jack as well as dual SIM tray. Besides, the retail shop showed parts of the device including a 256 GB SanDisk memory chip and dual camera set up in the rear panel.
Meanwhile, PhoneArena has also published images of alleged upcoming iPhone 7 Plus model that shows dual rear camera set up.
Note that Apple is expected to launched three phones this September including iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone Premium.
Apple is facing criticism for not introducing newer smartphone technologies while its main rival, Samung was applauded for its EDGE screen based smartphones that it introduced last year itself. Hopefully, Apple will wow us this year with some new innovations.
