The much awaited Apple iPad3 tablet would arrive by this year end, a financial analyst – Chris Caso, has claimed quoting sources. According to him, the initial production would be in small numbers and is likely to be between 600,000 to one million.
Another financial analyst firm JP Morgan had earlier claimed that the iPad production was declining which it suggested was due to falling interest in iPad, but Chris Caso refuted the claim saying it was due to Apple’s plan to make the transition to iPad 3 and not due to reducing interest in iPad 2.
The news supports the past trends of Apple launching new iPads at the beginning of the year. Probably this is happening because Apple wants to make sure it stays ahead of any third generation Galaxy Tab.
Many users are expecting some revolutionary new features in the new tablet of Apple including “Retina Display” which would provide resolution upto an unbelievable 2048×1536.This means big for the application developers, since they would be able to do some huge scaling up in terms of graphics and designs, just the way the standards were raised between iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4. The iPad 3 is also likely to have the new A6 Processor which is being manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC).
