Android powered Vertu Ti launched for Rs 5.64 lakh

The phone is made of Titanium, leather and sapphire crystals and is priced between Rs 5.64 to Rs 11.78 lakh.

Now if you are a crorepati and big fan of handmade Swiss watch, chances are you will fancy this handmade phone as well. Vertu, the luxury phone maker which till recently was part of Nokia, has launched its first powered smartphone, called Vertu Ti, in Singapore with a huge price tag of Rs 5.64 lakh to Rs 11.78 lakh.

This is the first Android smartphone from Vertu. It comes with a 3.7 inch display, a dual-core 1.7 GHz processor, Android 4.0, 8 camera, NFC and 64 of storage. It is handmade with precious elements that make it super special.

The Vertu Ti has titanium casing with leather accents as well as a 3.7-inch display made from sapphire crystal. Each handset is also signed by the craftsman who made it.

The cheapest Vertu Ti, the Titanium Black Leather version will retail for about Rs 5.64 lakh, while the Titanium Pure Black will go for Rs 6.77 lakh and the Titanium Black Alligator is even more expensive at Rs 7.48 lakh. But the most expensive crown goes to Black PVD Titanium Red Gold Mixed Metals Ti which will retail for a whopping Rs 11.78 lakh.
