Android powered Nokia D1C smartphone pricing leaked

Last week, HMD Global announced to enters the mobile market with Nokia branded mobile phones under an exclusive 10-year global brand license agreement.

Recently, we had reported that the Nokia D1C might come in two variants. Now the pricing of both the variants of D1C smartphone has been leaked online. The 2GB RAM variant will be priced at $150 (approximately Rs 10,111), whereas the 3GB RAM variant will cost $200 (approximately Rs 13,481).

As per recent leaks, the basic version of Nokia D1C will feature a 5-inch full (1080p) display, 2GB of RAM, and a 13-megapixel primary camera, whereas another version will offer 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display, 3GB of RAM, and a 16-megapixel rear camera.

Earlier leak also indicated towards the two variants, one will be a basic/standard model which will have a metal Frame and polycarbonate coloured back panel. The back panel will be available in Black and White colour options. Whereas the premium model will have an all-metal unibody design and will also house a fingerprint sensor in its home button. Further, premium model will come in Gold colour.

As per earlier leaks and listings, these specs could be common to both the variants, which include a 1.4 GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC, along with Adreno 505 GPU, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB of internal storage, and Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

Last month, alleged images of Nokia D1C smartphone had been surfaced online on Chinese social media platform, Weibo.

Earlier, the Android-powered Nokia D1C was spotted on GFXBench, GeekBench and AnTuTu websites.

Last week, HMD Global announced to enters the mobile market with Nokia branded mobile phones under an exclusive 10-year global brand license agreement with Nokia. The company also announced that the new Nokia smartphones on Android operating system will be available in H1 2017. With this development, HMD Global will be leading the Nokia’s new range of smartphones and tablets launched in near future, as well as the existing Nokia branded feature phone business.
