While Karbonn, Spice and Micromax have been in the headlines for launching Android One smartphones, other device manufacturers too have come out with their budget smartphones which are effectively challenging the Android One devices. Joining the list is iBall which has launched two smartphones at the same price point at which Android One devices are available.
The new iBall devices, Andi 4U Frisbee and Andi 5 Stallion are available for Rs 5,799 and Rs 6,999 respectively though their official price is Rs. 6,799 and Rs. 8,499 respectively.
The iBall Andi Frisbee offers a 4 inch IPS display with 800×480 pixels resolution. This display has Corning Gorilla Glass coating as well. The phone has 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal storage, and a 32 GB micro SD card slot. Frisbee has 8 megapixel camera and an LED flash in its rear panel while a VGA camera is in its front for video calling and selfies.
The Andi 4U Frisbee of iBall has a 1600 mAh battery, Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, dual SIM with dual standby feature, FM, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G connectivity, and GPS with A-GPS.
The iBall Andi 5 Stallion has a 5 inch IPS display but with the same FWVGA resolution. It has also the same 1.3 Ghz quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera with flash, VGA front camera, 4 GB internal storage, and Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
It has a slightly bigger 1700 mAh battery and comes with dual SIM with dual standby, 3G, WiFi with Hotspot featues, Bluetooth, and GPS with A-GPS.
