Good News for HTC users, HTC 10 European variant is likely to taste Android Nougat by end of November or early December. We already know how Android Nougat will look like with HTC’s Sense 8 on HTC Bolt which was launched last week.
Famous and one of the most reliable tipster, LlabTooFer on twitter today revealed that HTC is planning to release Android 7.0 update for European variant first.
The tweet read – “HTC 10 (EU) to receive Android 7.0 update by the end of November – begging of the December.”
Not only this, Android Nougat update for HTC One M9 is also due for year end or early January but we would recommend you to not get excited just yet as none of these rumours have gone official or have been confirmed by HTC yet.
As expected, the update will be first rolled out to unlocked variants post which it will eventually make its way to carrier specific variants. Further, there has been no information as to when will the update hit different territories but if you own an unlocked variant, it won’t take much long once the update is released for European variant.
In other news, as reported by Android Central, there is a new update for Google Pixel in works as well with the build number NMF261. Based on previous version’s build number, this might be Android 7.1.1.
