Lenovo has reportedly rolled out the Android Marshmallow update for the Lenovo A7000 smartphone. As per reports, the update is available over the air and it brings Marshmallow to the device along with the Android security patch level that was released in March this year.
Lenovo had earlier rolled out the the Android Marshmallow update for its K3 Note last month,
Users must have 2GB of free space to download and install the update as the update weighs 1.3GB. Since the update is being rolled out over-the-air, it may take some time before it comes to your device.You can also manually check for the update by going to Settings ->About Phone -> Software Update.
Lenovo A7000 was launched in India at Rs 8,999 in April last year. The Lenovo A7000 has a 5.5 inch IPS display with high definition resolution. This 7.9mm thick smartphone runs on a 1.5 GHz MediaTek octa-core processor and has 8 GB internal storage, 2 GB RAM, and a micro SD card slot that supports up to 32 GB.
The 140 grams weighing Lenovo A7000 has a 2900 mAh replaceable battery. It has an 8-megapixel Autofocus camera on the back and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is based on Android Marshmallow operating system (after the update) and comes with dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, and 4G LTE.
