Samsung has rolled out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy J5 smartphone, which was launched in India at Rs 11,999 last year.
The update brings the new TouchWiz with an updated design. The OTA update requires an 874MB download and has build number J500FXXU1BPF4.
If you haven’t got the notification of an OTA update yet, then you can manually check for the Android Marshmallow update by following these simple steps: go to Settings —> About device —> Software update.
Samsung Galaxy J5 features a 5 inch HD (720p) display with pixel density of 294ppi. The smartphone is armed with 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 quad core processor, along with 1.5 GB RAM, 16 GB of Internal Memory and a 128 GB micro SD card slot.
