Xolo has quietly introduced its Android variant of the Windows Phone 8.1 mobile platform based smartphone – Win Q900s. The Android based Xolo Q900s is set to arrive at Rs 9,999.
Xolo Win Q900s offers a 4.7-inch IPS display with 960×540 resolution. This display is constructed using the Dragontrail Glass protection. Xolo has powered the Q900s with a quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 mobile system-on-chip and 1 GB RAM. The phone offers 8 GB on-board storage out of which only 5 GB is available to the users. Thankfully the memory card slot support allows adding up to 32 GB micro SD card.
Xolo Q900s supports Dual SIM and out of two SIM cards it supports one 3G network enabled SIM. Other than that, the phone offers support for WiFi and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. Location based services are aided with the GPS support. By default, the Q900s runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and will get Android 4.4 KitKat update in the future.
At the rear, it has an 8 megapixel Purecel Sensor loaded camera with LED flash and Autofocus for fairly decent imaging experience. The camera is capable of clicking high resolution images and recording 720p (HD) videos. In its front rests a 2 megapixel camera for self portraits or video calls enabled by Skype. Weighing just about 100 grams, the Q900s is only 7.2 mm thick. Xolo has packed a 1800 mAh capacity battery inside to power this smartphone.
