Amazon has been rumored to introduce the next generation Android OS based Kindle Fire HD tablets. These tablets are expected to be announced in coming few months. BGR has now posted the images of the Kindle Fire HD 7 (2013) model showing the angular design.
The new Kindle Fire HD 7 (2013) images show an angular design around the back. There are speakers housed at the top part of the tablet at the back. The power button and volume control buttons are placed towards the backside of the tablet.
The Kindle Fire HD 7 (2013) model will feature 1920×1200 pixel resolution bearing display. This tablet will be powered by 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 mobile processor and will pack 2 GB RAM to run the custom Android based Amazon interface smoothly. Amazon will offer the Kindle Fire HD 7 (2013) in three different storage options – 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. This tablet will run Amazon’s user interface based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update.
The Amazon Kindle HD 7 (2013) will compete with the Asus Google Nexus 7 (2013) tablet that costs $230 for the US region.
