Amazon has started rolling out an update to its Fire TV Stick 4K that enables screen mirroring option. The update is rolling out to all the Fire TV Stick across the country.
With this, users can simply press and hold the “Home” button on the Alexa voice remote and select the mirroring option. The company claims that Fire TV Stick 4K detects all compatible devices within 30 feet. The brand says that the screen mirroring function is already available on Amazon Fire TV Stick.
“We are always listening to our customers and excited to add features that allow them to enjoy their favourite content on Fire TV. Screen mirroring on Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K brings content from more devices into their living rooms on large screens,” said Parag Gupta, Head – Amazon Devices, India.
To recall, the company introduced the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K in India in October last year. The device comes with a price tag of Rs 5,999 and it is available for purchase from Amazon. The Fire TV Stick comes with 4K support and it also has Alexa Voice integration, which allows users to quickly search content hands-free. With the Alexa Voice Remote, Fire TV customers control all their entertainment by just asking Alexa. The remote is compatible with all Fire TV devices available in India.
