Huami has announced the Amazfit GTR smartwatch in China in two sizes – 42mm and 47mm. The Amazfit GTR 42mm standard variant with Back, Pink or White strap is priced at 799 Yuan (Rs 7,975 approx.), and the special variant with White leather strap is priced at 999 Yuan (Rs 9,970 approx.).
The Amazfit GTR 47mm aluminum alloy and stainless steel versions with brown leather strap are priced at 999 Yuan (Rs 9,970 approx.) and the titanium version with fluoro rubber strap and Iron Man special edition are priced at 1399 Yuan (Rs 13,965 approx.).
The Amazfit GTR 47mm features 1.39-inch circular AMOLED Display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The 42mm features 1.2-inch (390 x 390 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The watch is compatible with Android 5.0 and above and iO S10.0 and above devices.
The smartwatch has BioTracker PPG bio-optical Sensors for advanced heart rate monitoring. It also packs a bunch of sensors that include 6-Axis Accelerometer, 3 Axial Geomagnetic Sensor, Air Pressure Sensor, Capacitive Sensor, Ambient Light Brightness Sensor. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0 LE, NFC, GPS and GLONASS.
The dimensions of 47mm smartwatch are 47.2 x 47.2 x 10.75 mm and its weight is 36 grams for aluminium alloy, 48 grams for stainless steel and 40 grams for titanium metal. The dimensions of 42mm are 42.6 x 42.6 x 9.2 mm and its weight is 25.5 grams.
Both versions of the Amazfit GTR come with 5ATM certification, which means it is waterproof up to a depth of 50 meters. The 47mm smartwatch is fuelled by a 410mAh LiPo battery. The company claims that it will last at least upto 24-days with normal use, up to 74 days in basic watch mode. The 42mm has 195mAh LiPo battery delivers up to 12-days of battery life with normal use, up to 34 days in basic watch mode.
