Having launched the original Bip activity tracker eleven months ago, Huami has announced its successor in India – the Amazfit Bip Lite. The Bip Lite bears a similar resemblance to the original Amazfit Bip but will be available for a cheaper price of Rs 3,999 on Amazon India during Amazon Prime Day sale which is set to happen on July 15 and 16.
Amazfit Bip Lite features a 1.28-inch trans-reflective always-on coloured screen of Resolution 176 x 176 pixels and is designed with a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The display can be used to show key information like date, time, weather and sports data at a glance. Users will also be able to receive notifications for calls, texts, apps and emails.
On the inside, the Huami Amazfit Bip Lite comes with GPS, GLONASS, a geomagnetic sensor, an optical heart rate sensor, a 3-axis acceleration sensor, a barometer, and an electronic compass. It can thus be used to track activities like running, walking, cycling with mapped data, distance, speed and heart rate tracking.
Weighing in at 31 grams, the Bip smartwatch is fuelled by a 190mAh battery which can be fully charged within 2.5 hours. The company claims that the Bip Lite will last at least 45 days on a single charge but will be able to run for 4 months on basic watch mode.
The device connects to your phone through Bluetooth v4.0 LE and can be worn during any activity with the ability to withstand water and dust with its IP68 certification. The watch is compatible with iOS and Android devices and can be paired with either using the Mi-Fit app.
The Bip Lite is resistant to dust, rain and splashes to up to 30 metres through its IP68 certification and comes with silicone bands which can be replaced with any 20mm watch bands.
Amazfit Bip Lite will be available for a price of Rs 3,999 on Amazon India during the Prime Day sale.
