Samsung seems to be working on its latest Clamshell smartphone, which could succeed its last year’s Galaxy Folder smartphone. A new clamshell smartphone with model name SM-G1600 has been found listed on GFXbench benchmark site, which as per report, could be Samsung’s upcoming flip phone, called as Galaxy Folder 2. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled in China first and followed by the South Korea launch.
As per report, the Alleged Galaxy Folder 2 was also found listed on Indian export import website Zauba, which indicate that the Samsung’s upcoming flip phone might be launched in India as well.
As per GFXbench listing, the SM-G1600 aka Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 features a 3.8-inch WVGA (800 x 480p) display and is armed with 1.4GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 425 processor, which is paired with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system wrapped under TouchWiz UI.
The alleged Galaxy Folder 2 comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable via microSD card. This Samsung flip phone sports an 8-megapixel auto-focus camera with and LED flash on the back and a 5-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
