Two Samsung smartphones, bearing model No SM-G8750 and SM-G8850, have been spotted recently on TENAA. These two models are allegedly coming as Samsung A8 Lite and Galaxy A8 Star respectivley.
Now it seems that they are very close to be launched as they have now been approved by China’s 3C regulators. The 3C certification is mandatory for importing and selling products in China.
Meanwhile, the 3C listing has indicated that the phones will have Fast charging 9.0V output at 1.67A (15W) and standard charging 5.0V at 2.0A (10W).
As per earlier TENAA listing, the A8 Star (SM-G8850) will have Snapdragon 660 processor, Adreno 512 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. Besides, it was listed on the Benchmarking website with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, 5.8-inch display and a 3000mAh battery. It will have a fingerprint scanner and is expected in Black and Blue colours.
The Samsung S8 Lite, on the other hand, is expected with Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a 3,000mAh battery, 12MP rear camera and Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
