An unannounced Meizu smartphone with model name Meizu m96 has been spotted on AnTuTu. As per report, this could be the next Meizu’s flagship smartphone.
The noted point in this listing is that the upcoming smartphone is armed with Samsung’s Exynos 8890 Chipset, as Meizu is now stopped using Samsung made chips, instead now they are using MediaTek chipsets.
As per Gizmochina, this upcoming device might be Meizu Pro 7 or could be another variant of older Meizu Pro 6 with Samsung’s Exynos 8890 chipset.
As per AnTuTu benchmark listing, the Meizu m96 features a 5.5-inch display with QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. It has Samsung’s Exynos 8890 Chipset that comes with Mali-T880, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. On the camera front, the device sports a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The upcoming device scored around 120k in AnTuTu benchmark.
Couple of days back, Meizu unveiled M3E smartphone in China which also has a MediaTek Chipset. The smartphone is priced at 1299 yuan (approximately Rs 13,045) and will be on sale starting from 14 August. The Meizu M3E offers a 5.5-inch display with full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an 1.8 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 64 bit processor and Mali T860 GPU. It has 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and 128GB expandable memory slot. The smartphone runs on Yun operating system with FlyMe 5.2.2 on the top of it and is backed up by a 3,100 mAh battery. There is also fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button on the front.
The Meizu M3E flaunts a 13-megapixel shooter on the back with Sony IMX258, dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), f2.2 Aperture that lets you focus in just 0.2 seconds and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and a Micro USB port.
