Alleged HTC Nexus Sailfish leaked in Google’s video

While the video mocked iPhone's storage problem, it might well have accidentally given at least a hint as to what HTC Sailfish will actually look like.

Google is expected to reveal two HTC made Nexus devices later this month or in next. Meanwhile, the internet giant has inadvertently leaked a picture of HTC Sailfish in its latest video promoting the Google Photos app. It was hinted first by the popular tipster and HTC enthusiast, The_Malignant, when he tweeted about the same.

While the video mocked iPhone’s storage problem, it might well have accidentally given at least a hint as to what HTC Sailfish will actually look like. Well, some claimed that the phone is just a moulded version of iPhone SE, and some claimed that it might be just a Dummy model of any other smartphone.

Another thing which is apparent from the video is the presence of 2.5D curved glass on top which was never seen in the previous leaks. To claim this as the next Nexus would be too ambitious in our opinion, but we won’t be surprised if HTC Nexus Sailfish looks a lot similar to this.

Earlier Rumours

As per reports, Nexus Marlin will come with an all-metal build, while Nexus Sailfish will have a plastic body. As per earlier rumors, HTC M1 Marlin will have a 5.5-inch QHD display, quad-core Qualcomm processor, 4GB RAM, 32 or 128GB of storage, and a 3,450 battery. It is expected to have a 12 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. Besides, the HTC Marlin is said to have a fingerprint scanner on the back, bottom firing speakers, 4.2 and a Type C USB port.

HTC S1 Sailfish is expected to come with a 5-inch full display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. HTC Sailfish is also rumored to have fingerprint sensor and USB-C port as well as a top mounted jack. The handset has support for Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity and is backed by a 2,770 mAh battery. It features a 12 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera.
