Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor is all set to unveil the Honor 8 at an event in China this month on July 11. Now seems like the company is working upon another smartphone. The device with model number EDI-DL00 has been spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA. The device is expected to be called as Honor V8 Max.
As per the TENAA listing, the Honor V8 Max has a 6.6-inch quad HD display with 1440 x 2560 resolution, a 2.3 GHz Kirin 950 octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. It offers 32GB of internal storage, 128GB expandable storage via a micro SD card, a 13 megapixel rear camera, an 8 megapixel front facing camera and a huge 4400 mAh battery. Honor V8 Max comes with fingerprint sensor on the rear and a metal unibody.
The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with EMIU 4.1 running on top and the images reveal that it has a Gold and Silver colour versions. Connectivity options of the device include dual SIM, 4G-LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and a Micro USB 2.0 port. The phone is 178.8 mm tall, 90.9 mm wide and 7.2 mm thin and it weighs 219 grams, according to the TENAA listing.
