As we reported earlier, Alcatel has announced the launch of its flagship Alcatel 5 smartphone. Besides, it has announced Alcatel 1X, two kid-friendly tablets and three phones under Alcate 3-series.
The Alcatel 5 has an HD+ (1440×720 pixels) panel, an octa-core MediaTek MT6750, 2GB/3GB ram and 16GB or 32GB of expandable storage. Besides, the phone offers a 12MP camera with f/2.2, 1.25 µm pixel size and dual-tome LED flash. The camera has features like EIS, Light Trace, Slow motion and Video story. The camera can also capture images at 16MP resolution.
For selfies, it has two snappers in the front: a 13MP unit with f/2.0 Aperture and 1.4 µm pixel size and a 5MP unit. There is an LED flash in the front too. The 114 grams weighing phone measures 152.3 x 71.1 x 8.4 mm. Launched in gold and black colours, the Alcatel 5 offers dual SIM slot, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with GLONASS, Wi-Fi b/g/n, microUSB 2.0 and an FM radio. A 3000 mAh battery is there in the phone that comes with Face Unlock feature.
TCL, which makes Alcatel branded phones, reportedly will launch the phone in selct markets for about Rs 18,000.
Alcatel 1X
With a starting price of about Rs 8000, the Alcatel 1X is an Android Go Edition that runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It has a 5.3 inch display, a 13/8 MP camera (depending on region), a 5 MP selfie camera, quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and a micro SD card slot. A 2 GB RAM model is also there. The phone has a 2460 mAh battery and it will come in both single and dual SIM variants.
Alcatel 1T tablets
Meanwhile, the company has launched two Android 8.1 Oreo operating system based tablets with 7 and 10 inch IPS screens. Named as 1T tablets, they come preloaded with a bunch of apps for kids, 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, and a micro SD card slot. The Alcatel 1T 10 has 16 GB of on-board storage while the 1T 7 offers 8 GB of memory.
Alcatel 3-Series
The company has also announced three phones in its 3 series – Alcatel 3V, 3X, and Alcatel 3. The 3V offers a 6 inch IPS 1080p+ screen, dual camera (12+8MP) and a 5 MP front camera. The Android Oreo phone has quad core MediaTek MT8735A chipset, 2 GB RAM, 16/32 GB internal memory, a micro SD card slot and a 3000 mAh battery.
It is said to be made available immediately in black, blue and gold colours for about Rs 15,000.
The Alcatel 3X offers a smaller 5.7 inch screen with 720p+ resolution, a 3000 mAh battery, dual camera (13+5 MP), 5 MP selfie camera, Android Nougat OS and quad core MT6739 quad core processor. The phone will come in 3 GB and 2 GB RAM models with 32 GB and 16 GB storage respectivly.
The Alcatel 3 has Android Oreo OS, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, 3000 mAh battery, 13 Megapixel rear camera with f2.0 aperture and image stablisation and 1.12µm, and a 5 MP front camera with a flash light.
It will cost around Rs 11,000.
