Akai India has launched a new range of Semi-Automatic and Fully-Automatic washing machines in India. The AKSW-7801RD/7802PD, AKSW-7501RD/7501BD and AKSW-6501RD/6501BD are the semi-automatic washing machines with a capacity range of 6.5 Kg to 7.8 Kg, whereas AKFW-7500GY is the fully-automatic machine with thecapacity of 7.5Kg. The washing machines are priced between Rs 10,990 to Rs 19,990 and all of them will be available in major offline outlets from tomorrow onwards.
The washing machines feature multi-wash programs: three in semi-automatic and ten in automatic. There is a powerful wash motorto give turbo wash with approximately 1300 rotations per minute and a dual waterfall technology for hand wash effect. Further, the company claims that washing machines are crafted by specially moulded polypropylene to handle extreme washing conditions. The body of the machines comes with an anti-rust coating for longer life and are available in two attractive colours Red and Blue.
On the power consumption front, the semi-automatic AKSW-7801RD/7802PD and AKSW-7501RD/7501BD come with rated power consumption of 520W during the wash and 190W during the spin, whereas AKSW-6501RD/6501BD and fully-automatic AKFW-7500GY come with a 360W and 385W of wash power consumption respectively.
