Bharti Airtel is slowly and gradually rolling out Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services in India. Now, the brand has introduced a new VoLTE Beta programme in different circles under which users will get 30GB free data.
The company has announced that it will be testing this model in West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Kerala, Bihar, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh to ask users for the feedback on the VoLTE services it is offering in the regions. Airtel offers VoLTE services in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Karnataka, Chennai and West Bengal circles.
In order to claim for the offer, users need to go on company’s official website and enter the number to check for the eligibility. If you are eligible for the programme, you will receive on OTP to confirm the participation in the beta programme. After the confirmation, users will get 10GB of free data straight away. Once users give timely feedback on the services, they will get 10GB of data at the end of 4th week and end of the 8th week respectively.
However, it is important to note few things before enrolling in the latest programme. To start with, users need to have a VoLTE-enabled smartphone and they need to update their phone to the latest OS software and need to enable VoLTE. The network could be patchy in nature due to the fact that it is being in Beta stage, so users might experience call drops, patch network connection and more.
