Bharti Airtel has today announced the launch of a new postpaid plan for its customers to compete with Reliance Jio’s postpaid plans. Dubbed as Rs 499 plan, it comes with a host of interesting offers.
To start with, users will get unlimited local and STD voice calls along with free incoming and outgoing on national roaming. The pack also offer 40GB of 4G/3G data and it also comes with data rollover facility through which left over data will be added next month. The plan also come loaded with 1 year of Amazon Prime subscription and it also Wynk TV subscription as well along with Handset Damage Protection.
The plan competes directly with Reliance Jio’s Rs 509 plan. The postpaid plan from Reliance Jio offers unlimited voice calls on Local, STD and national roaming. Interestingly, the pack offers more data as compared to the one offered by Airtel. Users get 60GB of data per month with a daily limit of 2GB per day. Apart from this, the plan offers free access to host of Jio App suites.
Previously, Airtel offered a new long-term plan for its prepaid customers, which comes with a price tag of Rs 995 and it comes with a validity of 180 days. Under this offer, Airtel customers will get unlimited voice calls on local and STD network along with free national Roaming calls. The pack, on the downside, offers just 1GB of 3G/4G data per month along with 100 SMS per day.
