Airtel partners with ZEE Entertainment to offer wider video content in India

Under this partnership, Airtel customers will get an exclusive access to the premium content of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL). The company says that over the next three years, the curated/select video content produced by ZEEL will be available on Airtel TV application.

Bharti Airtel has announced its strategic alliance with ZEE Entertainment to offer video content in India. Under this partnership, Airtel customers will get an exclusive access to the premium content of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL). The company says that over the next three years, the curated/select video content produced by ZEEL will be available on Airtel TV application. The content will include including TV shows, original series and movies.

Moving on, Airtel customers will be to access content from ZEE5, which is a digital content platform, as well. This includes Video on Demand (VOD) network content along with the recently launched ZEE5 Originals, Movies, TV Shows, Music Videos, Lifestyle shows, Kids shows and Plays. Users will be able to download the above-mentioned content through the Airtel TV application. This also means Airtel users can also watch ZEE’s 37 live TV channels as well. With this, Airtel now has content partnerships with the likes of Eros Now, SonyLIV, HOOQ, Hotstar, Amazon, AltBalaji and more.

Previously, Airtel announced that its TV has reached 50 million marks. n order to celebrate this milestone, the company is extending free subscription for all Airtel postpaid and prepaid mobile customers till December 30, 2018 (from June 30, 2018). The app currently offers over 375+ LIVE TV channels to go with 10,000 + movies and popular shows.
